Professional Development Case Competitions

The Ashland University MBA Program encourages students to cultivate professional experience by exercising their public speaking, leadership, and team development skills in local MBA Case Competitions.

Students compete amongst other accredited business programs, demonstrate their business and leadership skills all while expanding networking opportunities and enriching their overall experience in the MBA Program.

The 2020 Cardinal Challenge

Bring your best pitch to this year’s heavy hitting business plan competition as 12 teams of entrepreneurial graduate students gather in Louisville for their chance to win more than $32,000 in cash prizes.

Only the very best teams are chosen to participate in the Cardinal Challenge 2020 playoffs. The teams will present their innovative business concepts to a distinguished panel of judges comprised of experienced entrepreneurs and investors who thrive on providing start-up companies the valuable feedback needed to make their companies successful.

USASBE 2020: Conference Special Issues

Entrepreneurial Learning: The Implications of Social Relationships and the Practice of Entrepreneurship

This special issue of the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research (IJEBR) looks to explore the social, situated, and contested experiences of entrepreneurs as they navigate a particular experience. To do so, IJEBR seeks papers that identify a clear situated context within which entrepreneurial learning occurs and also how the process and outcomes of learning are potentially shaped by such a context.

To participate in the workshop, you should submit an extended abstract(750 words) to allanmac@liverpool.ac.uk by Sept 30th 2019. The final deadline for papers to be submitted to the special issue is April 30th 2020.   • Is student-driven, student-created and/or student-managed.

  • Is seeking funding and is a potentially viable investment opportunity.
